As a doula monitrice, I specialize in providing comprehensive support that allows you to remain at home during the early stages of labor, ensuring you arrive at the hospital at the optimal time for a smoother transition.
Research shows that laboring at home longer can reduce interventions and increase the likelihood of a successful vaginal delivery. My role is to empower you with comfort techniques, emotional support, and continuous monitoring to ensure you feel confident and supported throughout your journey.

A doula monitrice is a professional who combines the roles of a doula and a monitrice, providing both emotional and physical support during childbirth while also offering clinical assessments typically performed by a midwife. Here's a breakdown of their roles:
Doula Role: A doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to the mother and her partner before, during, and just after childbirth. This support may include comfort measures, guidance on positions for labor, and advocacy for the mother's birth preferences.
Monitrice Role: A monitrice has additional training to perform clinical tasks such as monitoring fetal heart tones, checking maternal vital signs, and assessing cervical dilation during labor. They do not typically perform medical interventions but provide information and support based on their observations.
Together, a doula monitrice offers a holistic approach to childbirth, blending emotional support with clinical expertise to help ensure a positive and informed birth experience for the mother and her family.

As your postpartum night doula, I offer assistance with feeding, soothing techniques, and establishing healthy sleep routines for both baby and parents. I provide emotional support and guidance, ensuring you feel confident and empowered during this transformative time.
Together, we'll create a calm and supportive environment where you can focus on healing and enjoying your new role as parents.
Day time
Daytime postpartum doula support offers nurturing, hands-on care during the early weeks and months after birth. Each visit is a chance to slow down, feel supported, and build confidence as you learn your baby’s cues and your own new rhythm. Together, we’ll create an environment that encourages rest, recovery, and connection. Visits may include feeding guidance, whether you’re breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle-feeding, gentle newborn care like soothing, bathing, or babywearing, and help establishing routines that feel sustainable. We also provide support for maternal recovery through nutrition, hydration, and emotional check-ins, along with light household help such as tidying, folding baby laundry, and preparing nourishing snacks so your focus can stay on bonding. Partners and siblings are welcomed into the process with tips and encouragement to strengthen your family’s connection. Each session is customized to meet your needs, typically lasting 4 hours during daytime hours (9 AM–5 PM).

This involves dehydrating the placenta on a lower temperature for a longer time with no steaming. People choose this method because they believe a lower cooking temp alters the properties of the placenta less.
